I have some professional experience as a strategic planning facilitator and consultant. I am currently retired and looking at doing some volunteer work as a coach with a dedicated DT high school.

I've read a few pubs on DT and understand the basics.

1. During the Ideate process, when the better vs not-so-good ideas are being culled, does experience show that as a weak point in the group's effort? Do you ever have a problem with the creator/sponsor over-selling or aggressively overwhelming other participants at that step?

In traditional planning sessions we used classical grouping and posting to level the playing field for something like that.

2. Are there any restrictions on prototyping methods in a typical DT setting?  ie: 3D printers vs cardboard vs storyboards?
