QUESTION: What is the relevance of Design Thinking for organizations and companies?

ANSWER: Many businesses understand how the effective use of design can make all the difference both to the products and services it offers it's customers and the operational efficiency of the organisation. Having design thinkers at the top of the organisation ensure that the business articulates and supports it's strategy at all levels, and ensures the customer understand why the business is different and in turn the best fit for them.

QUESTION: How would you formulate the difference between Design Thinking and Service Design?

ANSWER: Design thinking is about the strategy of the whole organisation and in turn cascades down into all aspects of the business offer, internal and external and the various different design processes that support its development such as graphic, architectural or product design.
Service design is focused on the external customer experience and how this works across all the stages of the customer journey. Supporting and guiding customer facing staff in the delivery of their day to day service.

QUESTION: What do you think is the future of Design Thinking?

ANSWER: The definition is still slightly confusing but the overwhelming success of businesses such as Apple mean that other businesses see the value of creative strategy aka design thinking as a core strength they need to develop.

QUESTION: What value will the DT Bootcamp create for the participants?

ANSWER: The Bootcamp will help everyone understand the key steps and insights around design thinking. Gaining some insights from experts that have challenged themselves to improve and make design more effective and beneficial to the businesses in which they have been involved.
