- Why do you want to be part of this community? (we ask this question in part because we want a spam free community for you and other members)
- For my thesis project I want to look at the topic of city identity, focussing in particular on the role played by organisations such as yours, and the relationship between volunteers, citizens, businesses and government. I will be comparing cities such as Glasgow, London and New York. My approach is that while most people and books on the topic focus on the visual identity (in NYC's case the I Love New York logo) the real "identity" rests with the people who live and work there. I want to explore this in more detail.
