Hi everybody!

I work with social innovation in Brazil, focused in helping governments to build citizen centered services, using design thinking and Theory U.

Hi Emer,
Butterfly Works projects are very exciting. I have been working on projects in India and Kenya (designglobalchange) but not in the scale of yours. I would be interested in learning more about your approach to partnering with communities, especially in Kenya where I have a current project that is still in development.

Thanks!
Natacha

Hi Emer,
Your work looks absolutely great. I'm at the moment in Cape Town and we are having co-creation workshop at CPUT next week on developing home-based care solutions.

Hi Matt, Satu,
I am from Butterfly Works, social design agency, we work through a co-creation process with the end users and other (possible) partners to develop prototypes and the final products.
in this slide http://bit.ly/9A8n2P from the Mobile Web East Africa conf you can see me showing the cycle we use, can send you the slide, to study better.
We do a lot of the type of work I think you have in mind see www.butterflyworks.org/learning or ping me here,
greetings
Emer

more or less.. But we will have another public evaluation of all submitted methods and tools. So, if you want to add something, I could include still it! It would be nice to get some more descriptions of tools/methods discussed earlier! So, please feel invited to add them!

I feel like I have been on another planet for about a month! It is good to be back online and reengaging on this topic.
I would really like to hear some thoughts on what this group has found to be most effective in developing new services to meet previously unmet needs in marginalized (socially/economically/politically) communities.
