I am pleased to announce the first ever Service Design Short Course at Central Saint Martins, from the 1st to the 12th of August 2010 (full time). Applications are now open until the beginning of July 2011. We are looking for 15 participants from different backgrounds and disciplines, with different levels of experience, so please pass this on to your network.
Service design is used to improve or create better services. It can transform environments, enhance communication or improve experiences. Service designers use people-centred approaches and co-design methods to create meaningful user experiences and deliver effective and sustainable solutions. The course will suit anyone interested in creative problem solving approaches and design thinking. You will be working in small teams and engage with a commercial, public or third sector organisation to design a service-based proposal, which will be presented at the end of the course. Top speakers from leading London agencies will share their professional experience with the course participants.
