Let's do it!  The 4 of us that went off and did more thinking after the first one can share some of what we came up with.

Hey everyone!

A few of us from the UnConference last Feb have been noodling away on the Hello Day idea that was being bounced around. Like all innovative types, we've been busy peeps with hands in all kinds of different projects. That said, we're open to more of you joining us. If you have an interest, send me an email!

Lots to tell!

Hello everyone.

I am a student at the University of Dundee in Scotland, approaching my final year of undergrad studies studying Interactive Media Design.
For my thesis project I want to look at the topic of city identity, focussing in particular on the role played by organisations such as yours, and the relationship between volunteers, citizens, businesses and government. I will be comparing cities such as Glasgow, London and New York. My approach is that while most people and books on the topic focus on the visual identity (in NYC's case the I Love New York logo) the real "identity" rests with the people who live and work there. I want to explore this in more detail.

I will be visiting New York on July 15 for a week and if anyone has any contacts in this area I would be grateful for names and addresses I could contact.

Many thanks

Ruth

Hello everyone,
It's great to read all of your positive reactions on the Unconferences in New York.
I'm busy with trying to make a format for Unconferences that are aranged by DesignThinkers (Arne). This is my graduation topic. I would love to hear your Do's & Don'ts since you are all professional expert :). Would you please take some time to answer a few questions here? (you can also email me the answers, gwenvangool@gmail.com)
Thanks so much in advance!
Cheers! Gwen
