About the Unconference: it seems that the planning goes on. As Vincenzo suggested, I think next week it should be important to have a plan/programme to promote (even if it's not everything scheduled). Also I think that we have to start using the hashtag: #Unmilan is perfect; if possibile I propose to use other # already diffused (socialinnovation, servicedesign, socialdesign, cocreation, etc) to take advantage from a wider stream.
Good idea for me to have an happy hour (better than a dinner, I think). I'm going to reserve my train, before to confirm my presence.

About the idea to use Google Moderator: it could be an interesting tool to support the co-design effort and to co-create the Unconference. It allows you to create a series about anything that you are interested in discussing and open it up for people to submit questions, ideas, or suggestions. Anyone can come to the site and submit a question, idea, or vote, and anyone can vote. It is powerful to be sure to address the issues which matter most to the participants. If we decide to use it, I think we have to start asap. It could be important to involve more people in the Uncoference.

Christian, Vincenzo,
I find interesting the idea of changing spaces during the day, because I know how helpful it can be especially during a concept generation process. This is my first unconference, so I really appreciate all these kind of suggestions. I'm only trying to check the possibilities. Outside The Hub there is a little courtyard with tables and chairs so, if the weather is nice that day, it can be a first option (and we have wireless internet connection there). Downstairs there is another conference room, but I have to check its availability. Then, about lunchtime,in front of The Hub there is a good and cheap chinese restaurant. We can have something to eat there and it's quiet enough to continue there for some time our discussion. Fabbrica del Vapore (http://www.fabbricadelvapore.org/en/), as Vincenzo suggested, is in Via Procaccini, quite closed to Paolo Sarpi, but I think that spaces there are quite all private except the exhibition ones. Then of course also Parco Sempione is very near and a nice place to walk. But one point: if we decide to use ustream and live tweets we cannot go outside The Hub internet connection, so maybe, in this occasion, better if we decide to be more "stable".

Very important that in these days about we all discuss about a possible frame for our day! With Roberta, Massimo and Kristina we were talking about the possibility of opening our day introducing quickly each other (especially in case we will be not all present during the dinner/happy hour the day before) and letting some time to who has brought a presentation about a co-production project he has been engaged in (considering that this cannot take more than two hours) and of course time for comments. Then it can be interesting focusing on two-three sectors in which co-production has already been applied or a new potential sector, finding some commong challenges and then open a workshop session related to these issues. We were thinking not to split us into groups, but taking advantage from all our different competences to make a brainstorming and maybe coming up with some new concepts. Of course the last part of the day can be dedicated to a final debate about our results and to the next steps.
These are only initial hypothesis and it's also a risk, according to me, to set precisely what we are going to do, but I invite you all to comment them and give ideas.

Ah, about the hashtag, I vote for #unMilan: easy to remember, funny and sounds like "something different from what usually happens in Milan"!

Briefly jumping in on the hashtag discussion. In Brussels we used #unBru, which was short & funny somehow, but also intriguing! We could use #unMilan? Whatever the hashtag, we must start using it about 10 days/2 weeks before the event, in promoting it, then on the day during live tweets, otherwise there will be no recognition.

Oh, a word about space. The WENOVSKI unconferences that we organized in Delft, Brussels, Rotterdam, etc. all used DIFFERENT spaces over the course of the event, including WALKING between these spaces... This is not a must, of course. It's just the idea that when you change spaces, it reframes your mind!

Dear all,
after attending a series of unconferences across Europe in these last years, I wonder if "one room" only would actually limitate the number of possible interactions/activities happening during the day. I do understand that we are talking about a smaller scale event (not hundreds of people...) but having different "thinking spaces" may always be useful (not sure about external spaces, corridors or even staircases available around (how far is the Hub from Fabbrica del Vapore?). Sorry to jump into the conversation like this, but have we got an initial plan/framework to work around? I like Massimo's roadmap idea and action plan.

as fo the twitter hashtag... I would stress the fact that is in Milan (that is the great innovation, coproduction has been around for a while now...) what about #coproductionMilan or #socialdesignMilan ...probably all too long.

As for dinner on Sunday do count on me. I would suggest a more informal aperitivo style, with no big table in the middle and the possibility of floating around (to get into the unconference spirit).
