I have always been fascinated by recycling in India
I remember as a kid we would have buyers coming home to pick up newspaper, clothes, empty milk bags and anything you wanted to get rid of.
I know wrapping up groceries in a news paper cone and packaging the same was almost an art form
We would also have vendors coming in to sharpen knives, rework matresses and tin utensils.
They carried their workshop on their shoulders or bicycle.
Can you throw some light on how Modern India has kept alive these great practices.
I rarely saw any item go into a land fill
