Design Thinking Patterns

The design patterns approach draws on the work of C. Alexander to create a "common" pattern language to depict design thinking practice(s). The "squiggle" used in our logo is used with permission from its creator, Damien Newman.

Hi Markus,

Most definitely. We are starting to create a pattern language and will commence on some draft patterns. Gotta work closely with Arne and others on the first few patterns.

Can you give me some examples? I get the thrust of what you're talking about, but I like something tangible to grasp exactly what you mean.

I am putting together an overview of C. Alexander's approach to patterns (to be uploaded online soon), and hope that through this forum we can explore, discover and create a pattern language for Design Thinking. All welcome!
