Johanna,

This sounds like very interesting work. Do keep us updated on how it goes. We are trying to collect stories of good uses of the toolkit.

Hi!

I'm working with http://massidea.org/ project at the moment. We are also working on a guidebook for teachers about how to support innovative thinking in teaching and bring design thinking as part of the work in schools. My employer in this project is a univercity of applied sciences in Finland and they don't have design education but are now interested in applying it in other programs.

Just ran across this site and digging into the toolkit. I love the idea of enlisting the kids to make the classroom a better place to learn.

I could not agree more! It is both challenging and exciting to try to shift ones mindset. I have found this process to be frustrating and difficult at certain times but so rewarding and enlightening in the end. My hope is that educators will view this as an opportunity to grow and experiment with our ever evolving craft, not as an end all be all cure for problems in education.

Hi Michael,

I agree :-)

And there never was nor will there ever be such a thing as a miracle cure. We are in a continuously changing world. Our 'cures' will have to keep up. That's not an easy task.

And in my humble opinion Design Thinking is a mindset not a method or fixed process.... we'll have to do the real work as well.
