The first day of ServDes10 will be an exiting one. And in my opinion the most fun one :-)
December 1st 2010 we'll have an UnConference and turn things upside down.

It's time to role up our sleeves and do something!!

Who who like to participate and/ or help me organize this first day
of UnConferencing and make it something special and memorable!

All options are open, the sky is the limit ;-)

Let me know!

More than happy , and willing to contribute to the unconference day.. I'm only one call/tweet/e-mail/re-comment and less than 100 miles away :)
Thanks Wim :-) I could use your help!
Markus (Hormess) and I have some unconference/barcamp experience. We're in, if you need us.
Thanks Adam. That's fantastic :-) Grateful to you.
Would be good to come up with a scheme to inspire and activate everyone. We need a real 'head-turner'.

Something that combines business, real life, design, creative thinking applied strategically... and a lot of fun.
Working on a real case is always good. Maybe we can find something to work on that will appeal to many people.
Great!

We are currently having our students work on a real case - how to solve the traffic problem at the university campus? Too many bikes in one place...

Perhaps not really appealling though =P
We have also talked about coming up with services for the homeless, and perhaps involving some non-profit organisation in the area.
Great to see that the discussion is already taking off! Let's all help in making this a great day at the conference. The theme of the conference is "ExChanging Knowledge", so it would be interesting to see how you interpret it!
Yes, happy to contribute to the Unconf dialogue/ideation process with this and I have a few of things that I can submit (one 1200 word article is being published in the next issue of Touchpoint) by way of papers and ideas.
We are involved as an event company, in the organisation of the www.dutchdesignawards.nl. We would love to contribute our knowledge and experience to this unconference! Sounds very good! Pls contact: www.commgres.com
Hi Marga,

Thanks! That's much appreciated :-)
Will you be attending the Conference?
Hi Arne, I'm also definitely in for this :)
Hi Satu,

Cool :-)) We should talk soon!!
Somebody was saying elsewhere in the context of this conference, that service design is under-researched. So is unconferencing. I could contribute some efficient unconferencing methods, a bit of unconferencing experience ... in return I might want to do some "research" on the day. Does that sound plausible?
