For jobseekers out there: Océ Netherlands is looking for another interaction designer to become part of a design team (25 m/f) that is embedded amidst a large R&D. Although it may sound like a ' classic' designer profile, design within Océ is typically 'fourth order' design. We develop systems of products, applications and services around users, rather than the other way round. Designers are no consultants standing at the side, but are part of a plethora of development projects, ranging from printers to business to business services. Designers are responsible for the experience, and facilitate 'design thinking' processes in teams.
Thus we are looking for persons who qualify as design thinkers who love to go beyond thinking and make dirty hands.
I am very interested in an opportunity to work hands-on participatory processes in design.
