Integrating Design Disciplines in Open Innovation Ecosystems. The IDeALL project

Cite du Design, ESoCE Net, Design for ALL, ENoLL and other fantastic partners have started the IDeALL project. You can benefit of IDeALL support to experiment the power of design in your own LLAB. Join the IDeALL Community by sending your Letter of Support , access the pilot opportunities and contribute to IDeALL objectives
- Integrate design disciplines into Living Lab’s approaches, create a common language and build a joint vision on user-centred innovation.
- Develop new methodologies thanks to interdisciplinary approaches (design, technology, sociology...), to be tested and improved thanks to experimentation with companies and users
- Demonstrate the added value of design and human-centred approaches in innovation processes through experimentation with Living Labs and clusters and assess outcomes through objective criteria

I am amazed at the power of open innovation to gather people of different backgrounds and skills together in search of innovative solutions to overcome challenges in their lives.

At our monthly @Start_Up_Lab sessions we have quickly extended participation internationally via gathering small teams in different internationallocations and connecting them via videoconferencing.

In this way we have recently helped a micro financing startup in Mexico to develop new ways of providing banking to the poorest rural population in Mexico, and bring together Christian and Muslim communities in Beirut via joint participation in developing/curating a shared history of their conflict. This month we are looking at new business models that can engage wider public participation in art appreciation and provide greater connectivity and opportunity for more artists to make a living....
