Event Description

Thanks to the support and organization of the Japan Foundation, Asia House and  ELISAVA ; Midi Master in Research  for Design and Innovation at ELISAVA invite you to the Conference of Morinosuke Kawaguchi .

Through the analysis of everyday objects in Japanese society (from superwcs to personalized stationery, from kabuki to the manga and anime from the strategy to robots), this expert in subcultures provides a roadmap into the future of international technology and design.

Kawaguchi´s unique approach is based on the connection between the monozukuri (manufacturing excellence and design) and emotional design, which favors the development of products to a new level.

For this it is essential to understand human nature in depth, since any future design is required to offer more than just efficiency and purpose.

The subculture has always reflected human nature and is a great indicator of what the future of technology can be. And, more importantly, how it will be used by people or how they relate to electronic devices.

Very interesting Jorge! Wish I could be there, but will be speaking myself that day at Designboost at the Dutch Design Week. Hope to see you soon either way. Un abrazo!
