DesignThinkers is Canada’s largest annual design conference,
and one of the most respected in the world, welcoming professionals from the creative and business communities alike.
The theme for this year’s event, developed by the in-house design team at the City of Mississauga and writer Doug
Dolan, is The Sacred Order of Alternative Ideas with the Latin motto finire cogitationes ad infinitum: limit your thinking
to the limitless. The campaign’s visual language revolves around optical illusions, which are images that appear to be two
different things simultaneously
